Today we're confronted with the possibility, as the experts say, an invasion by aliens from outer space.

  • Is that true?
  • Who are the aliens?
  • Where do they come from?
  • How's it going to be?
  • Will there be a war?
  • What's going to happen in that war?
  • Where is God involved in all of this?
  • What are you going to do?
  • Is there anything you can do to perhaps avoid this?

Well, all of these things are questions that are right on the tip of the tongue of many people today. In fact, there is a whole new word invented: 'ufologist.'

  • What is that? That is one who believes in UFOs!
  • What are UFOs? The Bible describes them!

But men are looking and they're wanting to know:

  • Are there aliens from outer space that are more intelligent than we are? Well, the answer is yes!

But not the ones that you think! So, everybody is expecting to see UFOs. Many of them are illusions. Many of them are natural phenomenas.

We can say without a doubt that they are also from the angels of Satan the devil—demons—and the angels of God. The world doesn't know them, so, they're ancient, unknown aliens, supposedly! They are from outer space. And the angels of Satan also dwell on the earth.

What are we up against? They say that there were two corpses of aliens found in Peru in 2017. You probably have seen a picture on it on the news. But:

  • Is it really true?
  • What are they?

They don't look like they present much of a challenge because they're so small, they're so skinny, and they're actually kind of stupid looking. So, is this what we're up against?

Here's a headline: "NASA Boss Says He Believes Aliens Could Exist When He Gave A Hearing Before Congress."

Today we're going to find out who the aliens are, why they are coming, when they are coming, and how it's going to affect your life.

Many people don't know it, but these prophecies have been in the Bible about this very thing for over 3,000 years. But because men don't want to believe the Word of God, men don't want to accept what is taught in it. The 'god of this world,' Satan the devil, has blinded their minds so when they read the Scriptures, they can't read them correctly because there is a secret to understanding the Bible! I'll just summarize it very carefully. You have to:

  • love God
  • obey God,
  • believe God

And you have to understand that every single word in the Bible is inspired by the God of Truth!

There are prophecies that were given clear back in the days of Daniel that talk about the end-time. So let's look at those.

Dan. 9 will tell us the final seven years that are just ahead of us. There's a 70-week prophecy.

If you want to know the Truth of the 70-week prophecy, you write in, you can e-mail us, you can call the office, you can send a letter, and we will send you the information on the 70-weeks prophecy.

You're going to have understanding as to what's going to happen in the future because it's going to happen whether you believe it or not. You need our series on Daniel and Revelation—an in-depth study of all of the pertinent prophecies that will be coming to pass, and are now coming to pass right at this very time that I'm speaking and you are listening.

Here in Dan. 9 we'll focus in on the last week of the 70-weeks prophecy. These are done in such a way that instead of a day equaling a day, a day will equal a year. So, the 70th week is the key prophecy and we will see how that comes together.

Dan. 9: 26 talks about the coming of Christ. We've got a special book on it: The Appointed Times of Jesus the Messiah

  • He is the Messiah
  • He is coming again
  • He said so
  • the Word of God tells us so
  • the Word of God tells us all the events leading up to it

What we will find is that there will be an invasion from outer space. And the ones that the world will look at as aliens, you will be surprised who they are.

Daniel 9:26: "And after sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off but not for Himself…."

You get that book, The Appointed Times of Jesus the Messiah! He's right on schedule. No one understands that God created everything that there is.

  • Is light and day on schedule?
  • Are seasons on schedule?

God is always on schedule, and He never tells a lie, because He's the God of Truth and His Bible is the Word of Truth!

If you don't believe that, then you will believe all the lies coming down and you will be caught in the trap of utter destruction when it comes.

"…not for Himself…. [He died for the sins of the world] …And the people of the prince who shall come..." (v 26).

After this will come a great leader. We find that in Rev. 13. We'll look at that in just a bit. This great world leader is going to come, and it'll look like he's going to solve the problems of the world. Everyone's going to flock after him.

  • Do you think we have enough problems in the world today?
  • Do you not think that they have to be solved?

Temporarily it will look like men will be able to solve their problems. But we will see what will happen and why there will come the invasion from outer space and who all is involved in it.

"…who shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. But his end shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined" (v 26).

  • this "…flood…" is a flood of soldiers!
  • "…unto the end…" when He comes!

Verse 27: "And he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week…"

They will enter into an alliance where all nations will agree to give part of their sovereignty to the one who is the world leader who is called 'the beast.'

That will be beginning of the last seven years! So, you need to look for the one who's going to become the world leader. Then we will see what he will do, which will then trigger all of the events leading up to the invasion from outer space. It's going to come!

They're not going to be weak, skinny, little, big-headed, idiot-looking things that people think that the aliens are. You're going to be surprised. So, you need to listen to this whole message.

"…And in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease…" (27).

We also know that there are prophecies that the Jews are going to build another temple. They already have plans way in advance, and they're going to build it at the precise time that God wants it built! They will start offering sacrifices again, and this world leader is going to cut off those sacrifices, which is going to trigger all of the events to fall together, leading to the great invasion from outer space. There will be great wars between people and nations. So, it's going to be a time of real difficulty, indeed!

"…and upon the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate even until the consummation.…" (v 27).

That means until the time appointed by God when Christ will begin to intervene and then come to this earth as the invader from outer space.

Most of the people of the world won't recognize that it's Christ, because they will be deceived by Satan the devil that this is an invasion from outer space to take over the world by people who are against the ones who live on the earth.

That will be the big lie! We'll see what will happen because we are on the verge of some of the most incredible fulfillment of Scripture that there has ever been in the history of all mankind. It's going to affect everyone on the earth, every single human being!

"…And the fully determined end, which is decreed, shall be poured out upon the desolator" (v 27).

That tells you it is sure to come! The invasion is being prepared! The question will remain:

  • Whose side will you be on?
  • What will happen when you make the choice?

Everyone's going to have to choose! Every human being on earth is going to have to choose!

We'll find out about the aliens and the events and everything leading up into it, which is pictured by the Holy Day that is called in the Bible the Feast of Trumpets!

We just read in the book of Daniel about the consummation of the age. This is the question that everyone wants to know; all of the disciples wanted to know. When Jesus was sitting viewing the temple, they came to Him…

Let's come to Matt. 24 and look at some Scriptures here. and then we will look at some prophecies of what has already been prophesied that's going to happen. Then we will come to the book of Revelation so that we can put all of these things together in a way that we can understand how the invasion from outer space is going to take place, and what's going to happen to the earth.

Matthew 24:3: "And as He was sitting on the Mount of Olives… [looking down toward the temple] …His disciples came to Him alone, saying, 'Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of Your coming, and of the completion of the age?'"

Then He gave all the prophecies leading up to it. And right now we're down here into lawlessness everywhere! (v 12)

Then He said this, and this is how we know there's going to be a temple that's going to be built. So, this is something to watch for; we will see it happen in our day.

Verse 15: "Therefore, when you see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of by Daniel the prophet….'"

What is that abomination of desolation? We'll read about it in just a bit!

"'…standing in the Holy place.' (The one who reads, let him understand.)" (v 15).

Dan. 11 tells us the time of the end and what's going to happen, and how the desolation is going to occur.

Daniel 11:40: "And at the time of the end… [that's equivalent to the consummation of the age in Matt' 24] …the King of the South shall push at him. And the King of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind with chariots and with horsemen and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries and shall overflow and sweep through."

This means there's going to be the trouble starting again right in the middle of the Middle East and it will center on Jerusalem and the temple that is to be built.

Then it shows he… [the beast] …is going to conquer the lands that are there and then he shall enter into the Holy Place. Let's see how that's going to occur so we can identify this whole system in the end-time. We will see there are two parts to it:

  • the governmental part, the world-government that is coming
  • the world religion that is coming

Both are being formed right now!

Rev. 13 ties all of these prophecies together. This is going to develop; it's going to come about because it's been prophesied.

Revelation 13:1: "And I [John] stood on the sand of the sea; and I saw a beast rising up out of the sea…"

A beast is a type of a government or a nation or power structure of nations!

"…out of the sea…" is the people's, nations, languages and so forth!

"…having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy" (v 1).

The name of blasphemy is that Satan the devil is in place of God!

Verse 2: "And the beast that I saw was like a leopard, and his feet like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion; and the dragon…"—Satan, the devil who is deceiving the whole world (Rev. 12)!

That's why there are lies everywhere, because they're all coming from Satan and it's all building up to this time of great trouble and war, and God shaking the heavens and the earth in preparation for the invasion from outer space.

"…gave him his power, and his throne and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as if it were slain to death, but his deadly wound was healed; and the whole earth…" (vs 2-3).

When we get to the Book of Revelation, we're talking about things that covers the whole world, the whole earth!

"…was amazed and followed the beast" (v 3).

Why? Because they gave their power to the beast (Rev. 17)!

Verse 4: "That they worship the dragon…."

  • that's what we're seeing take place right now
  • that's why such evil is coming around everywhere

"…who gave his authority to the beast. And they worshiped the beast, saying, 'Who is like the beast? Who has the power to make war against him?'" (v 4).

  • What is this beast going to do?
  • What is the abomination of desolation?
  • there has to be a temple built
  • there has to be a King of the North and a King of the South

Rev. 13 is talking about the King of the North who is going to come down and he's going to conquer Egypt. Then he's going to go into the into Judea, where the Temple of God will be built.

2-Thess. 2—the abomination of desolation actually prophesied by Paul to take place. This is the desolation of abomination that the Beast Power, as we just read in Rev. 13, is going to come into the Temple of God. He is going to proclaim himself to be God.

2-Thessalonians 2:1: "Now, we beseech you, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him."

  • What is that gathering together going to be?
  • Where are we going to be gathered together?

That's talking about the first resurrection!

If you believe that everyone has an immortal soul and they go to heaven, you don't have a clue as to what the Bible is really telling us about with the resurrection.

It is the resurrection, not an immortal soul, because if you have an immortal soul, you are already immortal, right? And you don't need to be saved! So, it will be the resurrection!

Verse 2: "That you not be quickly shaken in mind, nor be troubled—neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by epistle, as if from us, saying that the day of Christ is present."

That's what they're going to hail the beast to be: that he is the savior of the world.

  • look at the great things that he is doing
  • look at how he brought the world together
  • look at how he stopped all wars and fighting among people

That's the first half of the last seven years!

Verse 3: "Do not let anyone deceive you by any means…"

Ask yourself: Am I deceived? Most people will say, 'No, I'm not deceived.'

  • IF you don't know what the Bible is teaching
  • IF you don't know about God
  • IF you don't know about keeping His commandments
  • IF you don't know about being baptized and receiving the Holy Spirit of God
  • IF you're a Sunday goer
  • IF you're a Halloween, Christmas and Easter keeper

You are deceived!

  • you can take the name of Christ all you want; but it's not going to do you one bit of good
  • you can keep nine of the Ten Commandments.

Congratulations! Jesus said that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God!

How far off of the base are you if you think you're going to be in right standing with God if you're keeping nine of the commandments of God and you're celebrating all the holidays of this world, which point to Satan, the devil? That's why the holidays of this world every year starts out with Halloween: Death!

  • What is the wages of sin? Death!
  • What do we teach our children in Halloween? Death! Witches! Satan!

Don't let anyone deceive you!

What you need to do is pray and ask God to open your eyes, and get into the Bible to understand it!

"…because that day will not come unless the apostasy shall come first…" (v 3).

What is that apostasy? Falling for the coming one world religion and all religions together, just like all governments together!

  • Is that not what's taking place?
  • Is that not what the pope is working toward right now?
  • Are they not all cooperating together?
  • Are not these prophecies being fulfilled right now in front of our very eyes?

"…and the man of sin shall be revealed—the son of perdition" (v 3)—the beast of Rev. 13! This is the one who comes into the Holy Place (Dan. 9). Let's see what he does.

Verse 4: "The one who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is an object of worship; so that he comes into the Temple of God… [the Holy of Holies of whatever temple that the Jews are going to build] …and sits down as God, proclaiming that he himself is God." That day is coming!

Verse 5—Paul says: "Do you not remember that when I was still with you, I told you these things? And now you understand what is holding him back in order for him to be revealed in his own set time" (vs 5-6).

Though the prophecy was given nearly 2,000 years ago, the time is the set time, which is at the end. That's what Jesus said, the consummation of the age! "…to be revealed in his set time."

Verse 7: "For the mystery of lawlessness is already working..."—starting back then!

  • false doctrine
  • false apostles
  • false teaching
  • false understanding about the Word of God
  • lawlessness

Whenever you go against the Laws of God, you are lawless!

Remember what James said; you need to think hard on this because you may consider yourself a good person. You may consider that you yourself already know Christ. But you think upon this.

James said that 'of the Royal Law, that if you transgress one, if you're a murderer, an idolater or breaking any of the other commandments that God gave; you're breaking all of them! So, if you think that keeping nine commandments is enough, you're wrong! and You are deceived!

Those ministers, those preachers, those priests, those cardinals and the pope himself are all the agents of lawlessness serving Satan the devil!

Verse 7: "For the mystery of lawlessness is already working; only there is One Who is restraining at the present time until it arises out of the midst. And then the lawless one will be revealed…" (vs 7-8).

So, it's one particular man at one particular time according to the events and timing of the Bible. God reveals prophecies set by events not by dates.

We keep the Feast of Trumpets because this is a Feast that keeps us in tune with what God is going to do. It very well may happen on the Feast of Trumpets, but we don't know which Feast of Trumpets and we don't know what day of the week that it will fall on. So, we don't know. But God knows and it's going to be done!

Notice what's going to happen with the lawless one, and we will see this when we come a little later toward the end of the message.

"…whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth, and will destroy with the brightness of His coming" (v 8). That's His second coming! Christ is coming!

The invasion from outer space is not going to be led by aliens from some other place in the universe. It's going to be led by Jesus Christ Himself coming to the earth and the angels with Him, and the resurrected saints of the first resurrection!

That's what this message is about, to tell you all about that. Now, notice how the one who is the lawless one is described:

Verse 9: "Even the one whose coming is according to the inner working of Satan, with all power and signs and lying wonders."

It's going to be amazing! If you see something happen, what do they tell you? If you see it you believe it!

Remember, Satan is capable of doing some fantastic things: signs and wonders.

Verse 10: "And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness…"

It's built upon lies, lawlessness and false teachings! Those who are perishing because… There is a cause, just like there's a cause for every difficulty that's going on in the world. All of the causes of breaking the Ten Commandments of God; the cause is false Christianity, false religions! They're are all of Satan the devil, and they're all deceivableness. It all comes together. It's going to spiritually envelop the whole earth for a time!

Verse 10: "And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in those who are perishing…[What is the cause?] …because they did not receive the love of the Truth…"—which comes from the true God!

  • you have to believe what God says
  • you have to live by every word of God

If you want to understand these things that are taking place and perhaps avoid a good part of them in your life, you better come to God His way!

"…because they did not receive the love of the Truth, so that they might be saved" (v 10).

  • What does God do when you reject God?
  • What happens to you?

You might not think anything's going to happen to you, but it happens automatically!

Verse 11: "And for this cause God will send upon them a powerful deception that will cause them to believe the lie."

What is the lie? That that man of sin, the son of perdition, is God!

Now let's see how this is going to involve the whole world.

Remember that these prophecies that are in the Old Testament are thousands of years old, but that doesn't mean that they are not active in the time that they are prophesied to be active. Isa. 2 is talking about the coming of Christ.

Isaiah 2:8: "And their land is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made. And men will be brought low, and humbled—forgive them not" (vs 8-9).

There will come a time when it's going to be too late to try and repent. So, he says this and we'll see this repeated when we come to the book of Revelation in just a little bit.

Verse 10: "Enter into the rock and hide in the dust for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of His majesty…. [that's the return of Christ] …The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the pride of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day" (vs 10-11).

There is coming that day, as Jesus said, and it's right close!

Verse 12: "For the Day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every proud and haughty one, and upon every exalted one; and they shall be brought low, and it shall be upon all the high and lifted up cedars of Lebanon, and upon all the oaks of Bashan… [a type of the leading rulers of the world] …and upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up" (vs 12-14).

That's going to be quite a thing what God is going to do!

Let's see what he says, because when God begins to intervene; it is going to be something else. For people to say that the whole Old Testament has been fulfilled or it belongs to the Jews, they are completely wrong!

Isaiah 40:3: "A voice is calling out in the wilderness, 'Prepare the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God'"—the second coming of Christ!

Notice what's going to happen; it's going to affect the whole earth.

Verse 4: "Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low; and the crooked places shall be made straight, and the rough places plain; and the glory of the LORD shall be revealed…. [that has not happened] …and all flesh… [everyone on the earth] …shall see it together… [at the same time] …for the mouth of the LORD has spoken" (vs 4-5).

That's quite a prophecy. Think about what that's going to do. God says he's going to shake the heavens, shake the earth and everything in it. Let's see how this is going to come upon the world, what it will be like.

Isaiah 13:1: "The burden of Babylon…

That's not just ancient Babylon. In the book of Revelation what is the whole world's system called? Babylon the Great, the mother of harlots and of abominations in the earth! That's what's going to be filling the earth in the next few years leading up to these events.

Verse 2: "Lift up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice to them, wave the hand, so that they may go into the gates of the nobles…. [That's talking about the resurrection!] …I have commanded My Holy ones, I have also called My mighty ones for My anger, even those who rejoice in My triumph" (vs 2-3). That's the saints and the resurrection right there!

Verse 4: "The noise of a multitude in the mountains, as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together; the LORD of hosts gathers an army for the battle." That's going to be quite a battle that's going to come!

Verse 6: "Howl! For the Day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty."

The world looks at God as an alien; but Christ is going to return in all power and glory!

Verse 7: "Therefore, all hands shall be faint, and every man's heart shall melt; and they shall be afraid. Pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them. They shall be in pain like a woman who travails. They shall be amazed at one another, their faces are like blazing fire. Behold, the Day of the LORD comes, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to make the earth a desolation; and He shall destroy the sinners out of it" (vs 7-9).

How is this going to be? We'll look at it in a little bit, but here's the prophecy. Remember that this is nearly 3,000 years ago that this was given. Just because it takes a long time for the fulfillment to take place does not mean that it is not true, does not mean that it has already been fulfilled. All you have to do is read it and see the description of it and know that this has never happened. Here's what it's going to affect:

Verse 10: "For the stars of the heavens and their constellations shall not give light; the sun shall be darkened in its going forth, and the moon shall not reflect its light. And I will punish the world for their evil… [that's what's coming] …and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the tyrants. I will make man more scarce than gold; even man more than the fine gold of Ophir. Therefore, I will shake the heavens… [we'll see this again in its fulfillment and revelation] …and the earth shall move out of its place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of His fierce anger" (vs 10-13).

Jer. 25—let's see that it involves all the nations of the world. This also was a prophecy given to Jeremiah, but he never fulfilled it because God said, 'take this cup, fill it, go to all the nations' that He describes there. Then He brings out one very important point.

You can read all going up to it, but Jeremiah never got out and got to these various kings and nations with that cup, because that is going to be carried by. God!

Jeremiah 25:26: "And all the kings of the north, far and near, one with another, and all the kingdoms of the world, which are on the face of the earth..." How many times do we have to read:

  • the whole earth?
  • all the kingdoms of the earth?
  • all people on the earth?
  • everyone?
    • Does the Bible mean that?
    • Will it actually happen?

Yes, indeed!

"…and the king of Sheshach shall drink after them" (v 26). That means the king of contentions! That's another name for the 'lawless one' (2-Thess. 2) and the beast of Rev. 13.

Verse 26: "And all the kings of the north, far and near, one with another, and all the kingdoms of the world, which are on the face of the earth..."

Do you believe that? Every nation! Yes, indeed!

Verse 27: "Therefore, you shall say to them, "Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, 'Drink and be drunk…'"

Verse 29: "For, lo, I begin to bring evil on the city, which is called by My name… [Jerusalem] …and shall you go unpunished? You shall not go unpunished. For I will call for a sword on all the inhabitants of the earth,' says the LORD of hosts.

God is being all inclusive; "'…all the inhabitants of the earth,' says the LORD of hosts. 'And prophesy against them all these words, and say to them, "The LORD shall roar from on high, and utter His voice from His Holy habitation. He shall mightily roar over His dwelling place. He shall give a shout, like those who tread out grapes, against all the people of the earth.'" (vs 29-30).

When God says it once, he means it. When he says it repeatedly, you know it's going to happen.

Verse 31: "'A noise shall come to the ends of the earth; for the LORD has a controversy with the nations; He will plead with all flesh. He will give those who are wicked to the sword,' says the LORD."

Let's see how that is going to be. We will see how these things will come together.

Rev. 1—we need to understand the meaning of chapter one because it includes everything that is in the book of Revelation and the sureness of their fulfillment will be in the time that Christ has said.

  • I want you to think on this
  • I want you to pray about this
  • I want you to understand what is being said in the first couple of verses here

This is important. This is a message from God, the Father, the great Sovereign of the universe to everyone who reads it!

He is the One Who determines the times and places and the things how the prophecies are going to be fulfilled. Christ is the One to bring the revelation and He is the One to open the seals. But let's see what God has said.

Revelation 1:1: "The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to Him… [God the Father gave it to Jesus Christ] …to show to His servants… [all the true ministers of God] …the things that are ordained tocome to pass shortly…"

They are set, they are ordained, they have been prophesied, they will take place! That's what the Feast of Trumpets is all about.

"…and He made it known, having sent it by His angel to His servant John" (v 1).

So, John was told to write. These are the words of God the Father to John, not what John concocted out of his own mind or what he thought of, but what God told him to write.

Verse 2: Who gave witness to the Word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ, and all the things he saw. Blessed… [because God is revealing His secret to you] …is the one who reads, and those who hear the words of this prophecy and who keep the things that are written therein; for the time is at hand" (vs 2-3).

  • What do you mean, "…keep the things that are written therein…"?
  • What do you find in here?

You find about the Church of God! They are the ones who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. They are the ones who have the faith in Jesus and keep His commandments.

So, IF you think one thought in your mind that the Law has been done away, you are against God! You are lawless! It's Going to take place!

Verse 7—talking about the return of Christ: "Behold, He is coming with the clouds…"

What does that mean? He's coming from someplace above the clouds to the clouds! The Bible says every eye is going to see Him, but it also says that the Day of the Lord is like a thief in the night, so it comes! Why is it like a thief in the night? Because they won't be expecting it! That's why, even though it may be broad daylight wherever a person may be, it's going to come!

"…and every eye shall see Him, and those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen" (v 7). Think about that for a minute!

Doesn't this tie in with the prophecies that we read, and lo, there are many, many more prophecies in the Old Testament talking about the time when the return of Christ takes place. The world is going to look at it as an invasion from outer space and the world, we're going to see, is going to fight against Christ.

So, here's what Jesus said, v 8: "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the Ending,' says the Lord…"

You can't say that was way back then. You can't do that because God was behind that. You can't say the ending isn't here, yet. It's coming and Christ is in charge of it.

"…says the Lord, Who is, and Who was and Who is to come—the Almighty" (v 8).

Then the vision of revelation began to take place and the first thing He saw was Christ in His great power, you read the rest of Rev. 1. It was so awesome to see Christ's face shining like the sun and His voice like the sound of many waters, so much so that John fell on his face and Christ came to him, touched him and said, 'Fear not, I am the First and the Last. I am the One Who was dead, but behold, I'm alive evermore.'

Then he told John, 'You write what you see, you write what I tell you.' Then we have the prophecy of the Church's (Rev. 2 & 3). That goes from the time of Christ all the way down to His second coming.

The true Church of God has always been hated by the fake Christianity of this world, and they have suffered death, martyrdom and beheading at the hands of those who profess to represent Jesus Christ!  And that's going to come again! We're going to be facing terrible and difficult times!

When we come to Rev. 5, we find it very interesting here. this is the first time that a man in vision, after Isaiah (Isa. 6) saw the glory of God. But now John actually sees the Throne of God.

Everything in the rest of the Book of Revelation is keyed to chapters 4 & 5.

After seeing the Throne, the 24 elders and the four living creatures: Rev. 5 is the key, and this tells us that none of these prophecies are going to take place until God says it will take place. We'll see that!

Revelation 5:1: "And in the right hand of Him Who sits on the throne I saw a book, written within and on the back, which had been sealed with seven seals. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, 'Who is worthy to open the book and to loose its seals?'" (vs 1-2). What did he see?

Verse 3: "But no one in heaven, or on the earth, or under the earth was able to open the book, or to look inside it And I was weeping greatly because no one was found worthy to open and to read the book, or to look into it" (vs 3-4).

Verse 5: "Then one of the elders said to me, 'Do not weep. Behold, the Lion Who is of the tribe of Judah… [that's another name for Jesus Christ] …the Root of David, has overcome to open the book, and to loose its seven seals.'"

Then the seals will be open, but only at the time that God the Father says to open the seals. So, let's look at the seals.

Rev. 6, let's see what's going to happen, and we will see how close we are to these events taking place. Remember that the last seven years:

  • the first, three and a half are peace
  • the last three and a half lead to the Day of the Lord

Everything in the Book of Revelation from chapter six on is focusing on those things leading up to the last three and a half years.

So let's see, only Christ can open them, which tells you that unless you understand prophecy by properly putting prophecy together the way that it should be put together, you are likely going to get it wrong.

The Protestants have some prophecies, but they've got it wrong. The Seventh Day Adventists say that the 'mark of the beast' is Sunday-keeping. That is wrong!

The Bible tells us 'the mark of the beast' is you won't be able to buy and sell; it has nothing to do with Sunday-keeping. It has to do with your daily living and your livelihood! And it's coming!

That's what all of this digital age is all about leading up to it right now. In fact, many people today have a chip in their right hand.

They use it for all their transactions. Thousands in Sweden, notably Estonia, the most digitized country in the world, very small. They have it now where you can go to some places up in up in Tech Valley up here—Silicon Valley—and they won't take any money. No money! You must have a card.

What else is coming? Central Bank digital currency! What will that be? No currency! You have to have a smart phone and you can only buy and sell with that; then that will evolve into the final 'mark of the beast,' which will be a chip in the right hand or in your forehead.

Those days are just around the corner. If you can't see that coming, then you don't have a clue as to what the Bible is telling us about. Even some of the Protestants understand that, but they don't understand that they have to get right with God, because they think that there is going to be a great rapture and millions will be taken out of the Great Tribulation. The Bible nowhere teaches that!

Revelation 6:1: "And I looked when the Lamb opened one of the seals; and I heard one of the four living creatures say, like the sound of thunder, 'Come and see.' And I looked, and behold, there was a white horse; and the one who was sitting on it had a bow, and a crown was given to him; and he went out conquering, and to conquer" (vs 1-2).

How are you going to conquer with a bow but no arrows? This is the religious system working toward a one-world religion led by the pope and the other leaders of the religions of this world.

How far has that developed? This one undoubtedly is already opened as we are seeing these things taking place right now.  So, we're close.

Verse 3: "And when He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, 'Come and see.' And another horse went out that was red; and power was given to the one sitting on it to take peace from the earth…" (vs 3-4).

This is when the beginning of the last three and a half years occurs.

This is the time the King of the North comes against the King of the South, and then it branches out into war and many places in the world and then followed the third seal with death and all the famine and all the things that take place.

Verse 7: "And when He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, 'Come and see.' And I looked, and behold, there was a pale horse; and the name of the one sitting on it was Death…" (vs 7-8).  There's going to be dying of people in great piles.

Sidebar: Have you seen New York City lately? Have you seen on television all of the aliens living in the streets? Living in the hotels? What's going to happen? Probably going to be some plague, which will be awesome, in New York City, you can't have all that filth and squalor without it coming, and there will be death and destruction.

Likewise here; "…by the beasts of the earth" (v 8).

Verse 9: "And when He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the Word of God…"—martyrdom of the saints!

That's talked about, which gets down to this. Do we—having the Holy Spirit of God and being the people of God—have the strength, the faith, the conviction that we can stand and whatever comes against us:

  • whether we live or whether we die
  • whether our head is cut off or whatever it may be

Will we be faithful to the end? Because it's coming!

Then come down here to the sixth seal. The sixth seal brings us to the completion of two years in the last three and a half.

Now, there are many other Scriptures that we can put in there, but we don't have time. Look what happens here, the sixth seal. Think about those verses that we read back in the book of Isaiah and the book of Jeremiah.

Verse 12: "And when He opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as the hair of sackcloth, and the moon became as blood; and the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree casts its untimely figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind" (vs 12-13).

Remember what we read God said He's going to shake the heavens, He's going to shake the earth and it's going to affect all the inhabitants of the earth.

So we're not talking about little prophecies happening off in a little corner of some desert nation in the Middle East or Northern Africa. This is the whole world and this is going to be a mighty thing.

Notice what's going to happen. God is going to make Himself known. In a very powerful way.

Verse 14: "Then the heaven departed like a scroll that is being rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place."

Heavens are going to be ripped back and there is going to be the sign of the Son of Man. What is the sign of the Son of Man?

Go to the pre-recorded Trumpets message that I gave and you'll find that it is like a new sun that shines from the east to the west. Christ is going to make His coming, make His presence known.

The world is going to know and God is interested in repentance as we will see, because He's going to do a spectacular thing. Notice what it is. Notice what they think.

Verse 15: "And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the powerful men, and every bondman, and every free man hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains." Going to affect everybody on earth!

Verse 16: "And they said to the mountains and to the rocks, 'Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him Who sits on the Throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb, because the great day of His wrath has come, and who has the power to stand?'" (vs 16-17).

That's coming! That's what this Feast of Trumpets is all about. This is the first phase of Christ's return: The sign of the Son of Man. It's going to probably be there and come at the time that is called Pentecost.

That we know from Acts 2 when the all of the first converts were converted and the Holy Spirit was given. The reason we say that this comes on Pentecost is because Rev. 7 shows the 144,000 and the great innumerable multitude.

So, you have this in the midst of all of this, there's going to be a whole bunch of people that are 144,000 and great innumerable multitude who will repent. They will have one year to the resurrection. So, God will send an angel, 12,000 out of each of the tribes of Israel.

Does this sound like the tribes of Israel were lost and never found and not known in end time? Absolutely not!

This is the end-time and they are known and God 12,000 out of each of the tribes and then a great multitude besides that because God is interested in repentance. Then it shows that they are going to be eventually at the Throne of God and that will take place at the resurrection.

From the time of Pentecost to Trumpets is about four and a half months. After the shaking of the heaven and the earth and everything all out of shape, then men are going to get together and do the repairs. Then the war is going to be cut loose. because only those who believe that the sign of Son of Man is of Christ will be the ones who repent.

Those who don't repent will say that this is the alien invasion that may be coming. But before that, they're all going to fight each other back and forth, back and forth until we get to the time when the end actually occurs.

Then what do we have? Rev. 8-10—the Trumpet Plagues! There are seven of them. I'll let you read them. Going to be quite a thing.

Rev. 11—the two witnesses begin just before the abomination of desolation! So, if you don't have our series Daniel and Revelation, you send for it because it will lay it all out in graphic detail, step-by-step by Scripture.

The two witnesses are going to prophesy for 1,260 days. The two witnesses are not on the scene, yet; only God is going to select them! And by the prophecies we find from the book of Zechariah, there will probably be the coming high priest at the  temple that's going to be built in Jerusalem and the governor of Judea.

They will have power for 1,260 days to bring whatever plague on whatever part of the world that there is and no one can destroy them.

Now, think about that, the whole world against the two witnesses; two men! Then at the end of it, God lets them be killed and they leave their bodies in the streets of Jerusalem for three and a half days.

Then just before the 7th Trump and at the 7th Trump will be the resurrection of the saints. This is the second phase that happens.

Revelation 11:11: "Then after the three and a half days, the spirit of life from God entered into them and they stood on their feet; and great fear fell upon those who were watching them. And they heard a great voice from heaven, say, 'Come up here!'…." (vs 11-12)—that's the resurrection!

Notice the first two—Moses and Aaron—and the last two, whoever the two witnesses will be, the last two who are martyred are the first resurrected!

Verse 13: "And in that hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell; and seven thousand men were killed in the earthquake. And the rest were filled with fear, and gave glory to the God of heaven. The second woe is past…." (vs 13-14).

This is the second phase of the coming of Christ, which is the resurrection takes place!

Verse 15: "Then the seventh angel sounded his trumpet…"

Now, when you have seven trumpets, what is number seven? It's the last! The Bible says that the resurrection will take place at the last Trump.

Verse 15: "Then the seventh angel sounded his trumpet; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, 'The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and His Christ, and He shall reign into the ages of eternity.'" That's when the saints are resurrected.

When we're resurrected, where are we going to go? We're going to meet Christ in the air (1-Thess. 4). Where is the air? Christ is coming in the clouds! So, it's going to be someplace up in the atmosphere of the earth. This resurrection is going to take place on the Day of Pentecost. Where are we going to go? Rev. 15 tells us!

Because that great sun, the sign of the son of man coming that's going to come toward the earth and as it gets toward the atmosphere of the earth, it's going to just go into a great Sea of Glass. The world is going to look at that and think the aliens are really coming. They're really coming and they're probably going to see the resurrection of the saints take place.

All of these people are ascending up, the angels carrying them up to the Sea of Glass. How do we know it's going to be on a Sea of Glass? Well, it tells us!

Revelation 15:2: "And I saw a Sea of Glass mingled with fire, and those who had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, standing on the Sea of Glass, having the lyres of God."

That's going to be something! This is the second phase of the return of Christ, the resurrection of the saints!

After that comes the final battle, which is the great war that the Feast of Trumpets pictures (Rev. 16).

Each one of the angels have the seven last plagues that are poured out. It's the same that God used clear back in Egypt to bring the children of Israel out of Egypt. All of this, all of the saints are going to see taking place, looking down on the earth as we're all standing on the Sea of Glass.

Revelation 16:10: "And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the throne of the beast; and his kingdom became full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues because of the pain, and blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores; yet, they did not repent of their works" (vs 10-11);

So, even at the very last, God is interested in repentance.

Verse 12: "And the sixth angel poured out his vial into the great river Euphrates; and its waters were dried up, so that the way of the kings from the rising of the sun might be prepared. Then I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet" (vs 12-13).

  • out of the mouth of the beast
  • out of the mouth of Satan

This is going to be gathering all nations to fight against Christ. It's going to be quite a battle. It's going to be something!

We'll have to finish this off with the final phase of the coming of Christ, the third phase. On the Sea of Glass, there are many things going to take place for those in the first resurrection going to have a new name.

They're going to receive the knowledge of what we're going to do. There's going to be the marriage of the lamb and the Church. There's going to be the wedding feast. It's going to take place and all of the rewards given out to everyone, and all are going to see the vengeance of God from the Sea of Glass!

Now, when we come to the next Feast of Trumpets, which is the third and final phase of the coming of Christ, He's going to come with all the saints with Him!

And here it is, and this fulfills and finishes the Feast of Trumpets in its fullness as prophesied in the Bible. It's going to be here is the invasion from outer space will be all in the first resurrection, be with Christ and come back with him and the army of God to take over the world. So let's see what happens with this.

Revelation 19:11: "And I saw heaven open; and behold, a white horse; and He Who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He does judge and make war"—that's Christ.

Verse 12: "And His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written that no one knows except Him. And He was clothed with a garment dipped in blood; and His name is The Word of God" (vs 12-13).

That goes right back to John 1:1-3, the Word of God, that's Christ!

Verse 14: "The armies in heaven were following Him…." That's all of the resurrected saints. We're going to come back with Him and:

  • we're going to be a part of ending all war
  • we're going to be a part of getting rid of Satan the devil
  • we're going to be part of the beginning of the setting up of the Kingdom of God to bring peace on this earth for a thousand years

Verse 14: "And the armies in heaven were following Him on white horses; and they were clothed in fine linen, white and pure. And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He might smite the nations; and He shall shepherd them with an iron rod; and He treads the winepress of the fury and the wrath of the Almighty God" (vs 14-15).

Now then, what's going to happen to those armies that are gathered there to fight? You can read it in Zech. 14!

God has His special secret weapon that will take them all out. Do you know what that is? Their flesh will fall off their skeleton!  The beast and a false prophet are taken and cast into the Lake of Fire!

So this was a fast, quick review. It's necessary to understand what the Feast of Trumpet means and why there will be an invasion from outer space with Christ and the saints back to this earth to set up the Kingdom of God!
